Medina Trevathan is an interdisciplinary artist based in the United Kingdom and Southern Spain. She grew up in an international Sufi Muslim community in Andalusia, Spain. She is a keeper and researcher of the henna tradition, offering the plant's wisdom in ceremonies, talks and workshops. Her art is inspired by the Islamic tradition, Celtic thought, womanhood and the natural world.
